Job Title: E&I Technician OVC - Destrehan LA Overview: The E&I Technician will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of our soybean processing facility in Destrehan LA. This will include troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment in the facility. Essential Functions: *Responsible for plant wide electrical troubleshooting and repair (electrical circuits of 480VAC or less).*Troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drive (VFD) and AC/DC systems*Ability to perform general electrician skills including but not limited to running conduit and sizing and pulling wire*Ability to read and understand ladder logic*Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logix Control (PLC) (Allen-Bradley) systems*Utilize the integrator to assign IP addresses to new equipment, electrical commissioning of new equipment*Ability to follow, interpret, and read blueprints or schematics*Calibrate and/or troubleshoot process instrumentation*Inspect for conformity to industry standards or specifications*Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Skill/Experience Requirements: *Associates degree and/or Technical Certification preferred*High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred*5 years of industrial electrical experience preferred*PLC experience preferred*Documented experience or training*Good written and verbal communications skills*Overtime will be required both as part of the normal schedule and to provide coverage as needed.
