The Driver / Tour Prep is responsible for safely transporting gear or personnel to the proper venues at any time of the day. Other responsibilities include testing and preparation of motors, rigging gear, checking-in gear, and building work trunks for tour. QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion. Current driver's license and driving record that meets Clair driving policy standards. Basic computer skills Two plus years' experience driving at least a 26-foot truck Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs Ability to follow written/oral geographical directions Ability to account for daily driving expenses Ability to obtain a forklift license Basic understanding of rigging concepts and motors RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Responsible for pick- up and delivery to local vendors Take vehicles to be serviced Keep vehicles clean and orderly Pulling from inventory for work trunks Assist with the check-in process of work trunks upon return from tour Assist with loading and unloading of trucks Assist with cycle count of gear Upkeep of motors and rigging Assist other departments as needed
