Description:
JOB SUMMARY This job position performs duties in the operation of a belt filter press at the wastewater treatment plant. The position is also responsible for hauling processed wastewater sludge to a repurposing facility and hauling wastewater grit and rags to the landfill in a roll-off truck. Other duties include preventative maintenance of the belt press and other wastewater treatment processes. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: High school diploma required. Minimum of 1-year experience in operations of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants or belt filter press operations. Special Requirements: Must possess Class "C" wastewater certification issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
