Driver/ Operative Industry: Environmental Location: Isle of Wight Hours: 12noon - 9pm Days: Monday - Friday Duration: Immediate start, Temporary, ongoing. Duties: Driving 3.5t Vehicle, vehicle checks and reporting maintenance. Attending reported missed collections and loading household waste. Attending reporting fly-tipping sites, taking photographs and loading waste, manual handling. Delivering new and replacement bins, assembly of bins and stock control. Adherence to health and safety standards. Experience: Must have a full driver's licence and previous commercial driving experience. Must have a good knowledge of the Island Read network and understanding of health and safety. Must be physically fit due to manual handling duties and be able to work well on own initiative, to instruction as well as part of a team. Must be able to take photographs and upload them to reports using a tablet.
