Charlie's was founded in quality, and we are proud that it is still our focus.With a team of dedicated people who are passionate about food, supply chain, and their community we are looking for like minded individuals to help further our goal to enhance our communities through quality produce.--What we offer:An amazing company culture!Medical/Dental/Vision on the first of the month following hire.ESOP (Profit Sharing) and 401(k).Paid vacations, paid holidays.Pre-tax commuter benefits, and onsite parking.Paid sick time after 90 days.100% Prepaid College Tuition for employees and their dependents.Employee assistance program (EAP).Additional Compensation Details:Salary Information Dependent on Experience and Location of RoleYearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenureResponsibilitiesThe RoleWe are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.--Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited ToLoading and unloading company productsCompleting accurate delivery records and reportsReporting all delivery-related problems to senior staffEffectively communicating with clients and customersAssisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.Obtaining clients' and customers' signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.Performs other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed--Peripheral Duties: Tasks and special projects as assigned by Transportation SupervisorQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs frequentlyAbility to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per shiftAbility to work as a team member-works as a co-workerCommunicator- Ability to communicate effectively and efficientlyAbility to work independentlyAbility to follow written or verbal instructionsAbility to solve routine problems and solve basic mathAbility to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagramsWarehouse experience helpful but not necessaryRiding pallet Jack experience preferred, not requiredHear from Charlie's employeesSupplemental InformationThis employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
