ResourceOne is currently looking for a Dock Expeditor. Must have forklift experience. Job does require forklift and/or stand up jack experience Job Summary: In this role you will Process and confirm pallet integrity for all pallets coming out of Production and notate/report discrepancies or piece count issues to the Manager on duty in a timely manner. The Expeditor is responsible for packaging, weighing, and labeling of printed material for shipping to clients by mail, FedEx, DHL or UPS indicated by instructions. Duties and Responsibilities Assembles specified number of items and cartons for each addressee as indicated by instructions Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto packages Provides required reports and shipping logs Processes outgoing shipments into computerized shipping systems Communicates with the Shipping Manager about the company's needs and requirements Creates and ensures the accuracy of packing slips Performs routine quality control functions on print and postal report files created to ensure that specifications are correct, and items are shipped on time Safely operates forklift/ stand up jack and pallet jacks to move, convey or hoist shipments or other material handling equipment Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: This position requires an individual who is technically and mechanically oriented. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as operation and maintenance instructions Must possess basic computer and excel knowledge Experience with BCC Software/Mail Manager and understanding of mail barcodes, mail house, presort and co-mingling a plus Good communication & interpersonal skills Exhibit a sense of urgency to meet or exceed production goals Knowledge of computer shipping systems or basic software aptitude a plus Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and business mail entry requirements a plus Meticulous administrative and organizational skills Experience in the printing industry a plus but not required Detailed Oriented Able to listen effectively and adapt to changing conditions Be flexible with hours and work days Working Conditions Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for most of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb. In addition, requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds. Education and Experience: High School or GED equivalent preferred Prior experience operating an electrical pallet jack and forklift truck is a Must Forklift certified desired Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
