Donor Services Specialist, USA Purpose of the Job The Donor Services Specialist is the focal contact point for all system-related matters including quality assurance and financial transactions. S/he regularly reports on system-related issues and proposes ways to implement business efficiencies and minimizes problems by anticipating or preparing in advance. The Donor Services Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Donor Relations (DR) teams and ensures that both DR and the Regional Development teams adhere to the Donor Services policies and procedures. This position reports to the Development and Marketing Director. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Processes all financial transactions related to donations such as direct debit, direct deposit, matching gifts, third-party donations (Benevity), etc. Monitors CRM tasks executed by the Donor Relations teams across all offices; addresses issues with Regional Development Managers, and provide guidance or training to avoid the reoccurrence of issues. Coordinates with IT/IS team to resolve technical CRM issues that hinder day-to-day processes and tasks. Assist the Development team to train new Donor Relations staff on how to administer CRM tasks. Leads data perfection projects on CRM administered by Donor Relations teams. Assist in updating the Donor Services manual to capture the latest CRM processes and ensure that they are streamlined and efficient. Coordinates the integration of new automation processes into the CRM to ensure smooth implementation by Donor Relations teams. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration or any related field in Management Information Systems. 2 years experience in fundraising, customer relations, and/or sales with at least 3 years of CRM software experience, such as Salesforce. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail, along with demonstrated ability to follow up on tasks and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently. Demonstrates thoroughness in accomplishing tasks; monitors and checks data to ensure accuracy in presentation. Ability to apply judgment and validate data; must be able to consider multiple perspectives and re-evaluate data as new information becomes available. Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication (oral and written) skills in both Arabic and English. Travel and Working Environment Limited travel.
