Bone-A-Fide Pet Care has immediate openings for extraordinary dog loving people for Part-Time dog walking! We hate to call it a job because what we do is so much fun and very rewarding! While we take the care of pets seriously, it is a fun way to earn extra part-time supplemental income. We take great pride in providing excellence in pet care over the last 18 years with five star reviews for our award winning pet sitting and dog walking service! If you are an enthusiastic and avid lover of dogs, like to be outdoors, get in some exercise and earn great side income, this job may be for you! Our Openings: Walks are primarily in the 27612, 27613 zip code area Walks occur Monday-Friday typically between 10:30am-2:30pm, though times can vary on occasions. We have immediate work available! Our Ideal Candidate: We are accepting applicants who are within a 10 mile or less, 15 minute or less drive of Creedmoor and Lynn Roads in North Raleigh, 27612. Recent experience with dogs, whether volunteer, professional, or with personal pets with a positive attitude and desire to learn. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Extremely reliable (pets are depending on you!), honest to a fault, trustworthy, and compassionate with a strong work ethic and genuine love and concern for animal well-being. Excellent time management skills, detail oriented with a natural drive to go the extra mile and provide first-class care. 21 yrs or older Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Have a smart phone to use a professional pet sitting app. Able to pass a criminal background and DMV check. Able to make a minimum 9-12 month commitment. What We Offer: Income range is $300-$800+ a month depending on your availability. We pay per visit with the average hourly rate being about $16-$22/hour depending on client needs. Increase in compensation possible within 3 months of consistent pet care. Company bonuses at its discretion. Tips when provided by clients Opportunity for advancement! Independent yet supportive work environment. What We Do: Travel to client's home to take dog(s) out for a walk with most being 30 minutes. Some clients want them to play in the yard. Ensure safety of pets at all times. Proper pet waste pick up and disposal, refresh water and give treat/feed meal if requested. Send a short visit note and pet pics to parent of the fun you both had! We have a track record caregivers working for us from a few years to 9+ because we believe in compensating our caregivers well, creating an enjoyable and independent yet supportive work environment and work/life balance!We want visiting client pets to be an enjoyable part of your day all while earning great part time income! This is an ideal situation for stay at home moms, semi or full time retirees, free lancers, remote workers, self-employed, vet techs, vet assistants, vet receptionists, gig workers like Door Dash, Uber, Grubhub, Lyft and the like, college students, nurses, CNA's, teachers available for spring and summer break and major holidays.
