We are currently seeking an Service Dispatcher to join our elite team at Sunset Chevrolet-Buick-GMC. This position is responsible for dispatching work to technicians in an efficient manner to maximize productivity and efficiency. If you have automotive service knowledge and can also be organized and stay on top of a large number of moving parts and shifting demands, then we would like to talk to you about this key position and whether it is a fit for you.Schedule is 8-5 Monday-Friday. Auto Service Dispatcher Requirements Must have basic automotive repair knowledge - previous experience as a service technician, advisor, etc. very helpful Must be flexible, able to juggle multiple demands, and have solid communication skills Computer proficiency required. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds a plus Automotive Service Dispatcher Duties Dispatch work to service technicians in a way that optimizes productivity of the service shop Monitor for productivity issues throughout the day/week and adjust assignments as necessary Interact with customers, advisors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.
