🏥 Director of Medical Surgical Renal Transplant Unit Position Available $100,000-$130,000 Overview: Join our team in El Paso, TX, as the Director of the Medical Surgical Renal Transplant Unit. This role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a dynamic healthcare unit focused on providing exceptional care to patients in need of renal services. Job Summary: As the Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the unit's efficiency and safety while delivering high-quality care. You'll collaborate with various departments to promote multidisciplinary coordination of services, manage budgets, implement quality improvement initiatives, and lead the unit to achieve its goals. Responsibilities: 🤝 Promote multidisciplinary coordination of services within the unit. 💼 Develop and monitor budgetary goals and outcomes. 📊 Administer and appraise quality improvement initiatives. 👩⚕️ Control processes related to Human Resources, including hiring, evaluation, and development. ⚕️ Direct and approve professional nursing and support positions. 📝 Develop, interpret, and review policies and procedures. 🚨 Develop and implement disaster preparedness policies and procedures. 📢 Collaborate and participate in marketing efforts for the department. ⏰ Ensure 24-hour coverage and problem resolution. Qualifications: 🩺 Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required. 🏥 Registered Nurse with current licensure in Texas or compact state. 🎓 Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma. 📜 ANCC Orthopedic Nurse Certifications required within three years of hire date. 💉 PALS certification required within one year of hire date. 🚑 ACLS certification required within six months of hire date. 🌡️ Must have renal experience and leadership experience in an acute care setting.
