Title: Director, Pharmacy Business Intelligence and Analytics Reports to: Chief Pharmacy Officer Organization Summary: Community Care Cooperative (C3) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) governed by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Our mission is to leverage the collective strengths of FQHCs to improve the health and wellness of the people we serve. We are a fast-growing organization founded in 2016 with 9 health centers and now serving hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries who receive primary care at health centers and independent practices across Massachusetts. We are an innovative organization developing new partnerships and programs to improve the health of members and communities, and to strengthen our health center partners. Job Summary: The Director, Pharmacy Business Intelligence and Analytics will be housed under C3's subsidiary, Community Pharmacy Cooperative, LLC (CPC). Reporting to the Chief Pharmacy Office of CPC, the Director, Pharmacy Business Intelligence and Analytics is responsible for leading the CPC's analytics and reporting and is responsible for maturing and scaling a Business Intelligence and Analytics programs platform and providing direct supervision for the Senior Analysts and Analysts for Pharmacy Business Intelligence. This role will work interdepartmentally to understand organizational needs and coordinate innovative solutions that advance and optimize Pharmacy Operational and Clinical Program success. The Director ensures that our pharmacy data is leveraged to create actionable information that drives strategic and operating goals and objectives. Responsibilities: • Direct the development of operational and financial reporting platforms for Retail/340B Pharmacy, ACO Clinical Pharmacy Programs and Performance Measures and Financial Pharmacy Performance Measures for member organizations • Direct and provide hands-on support to further develop and improve existing reports and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power Business Intelligence • Lead internal software program development of these platforms and oversee strategic planning and vendor relationships for these related programs • Determine needed software and hardware purchases related to support of business intelligence and analytics programs • Lead team resources within the Pharmacy Business Intelligence and Analytics team supervising Senior Analysts and Analysts • Provide oversight, direction and development of the team and programs • Responsible for data integrity and security (including but not limited to meeting all HIPAA, Confidentiality and other required safeguards) and ensures proper data management • Develop needed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the program • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned and necessary to successfully oversee these programs and services for CPC/C3 Required Skills: • Experience in SQL server management and optimization • Experience with data management including algorithm, and needed language development to support optimization of analytical and business intelligence platforms • Experience with Domo, ClicData, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or like business intelligence tool platforms required • Very experienced in Microsoft Office Suite with focused experience in Excel and Access • Three or more years' experience in Business Analytics with hands-on reporting & data analyst functional experience within the healthcare sector • Supervisory experience is strongly preferred Desired Other Skills: • Experience with 340B programs, Medicaid/Medicare, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) highly desired • Familiarity/expertise in using pharmaceutical data sets such as prescriber-plan data, patient level data, transactional claims, EHR data and diagnostic data preferred • Ability to take complex and discrete data and transform that into meaningful and directional information to guide key decision makers • Advanced skills in presenting and oral and written communications • Familiarity with the ACO programs, MassHealth ACO program • Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers • Experience with working on healthcare inequity & social justices with at risk patient and underserved populations is preferred • Experience with anti-racism activities, and/or lived experience with racism is highly preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Computer Science or Data Analytics or equivalent relevant experience • Master's Degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences or Data Analytics, certification in Business Analytics or like programs is preferred ** In compliance with Covid-19 Infection Control practices per Mass.gov recommendations, we require all employees to be vaccinated consistent with applicable law. ** Job Posted by ApplicantPro
