The Director of Service Sales primary responsibilities are implementing and developing the Owner Direct Service sales strategy for the company while creating sales plans and budgets as well as supporting the full P&L. The Director of Service Sales will execute and manage a sales growth plan primarily focused around the reoccurring Maintenance base with top-level oversight of key client accounts and assisting in growth and development of sales staff as well as the overall business. The Director of Service Sales will be actively involved in expanding and securing new business and markets, development and growth of customer portfolios, and participating in the internal management sales meetings of the overall company. The Direct of Service Sales will guide sales staff development through identifying skills needs, delegating tasks appropriately, and motivating staff to provide outstanding client service to meet or exceed the business sales objectives. Essential Duties Achieve the service organization's overall strategic sales goals and profitability requirements as determined by the financial plan. Analyze sales performance of the service business and its staff in meeting objectives; determine areas of potential investment, efficiency, process improvement, and policy change. Works closely with the VP, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to track monthly, quarterly, and annual results. Recruit, hire, and train key sales staff to the service organization. Lead the development and implementation of marketing and sales programs to grow the reoccurring maintenance base across all geographic areas. Confer with executives and service staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems. Assist in the direction of human resources activities for the organization, as related to department staffing with the VP of Service Operations. Determine sales staffing requirements hire and train new employees and oversee those personnel processes. Coordinates marketing and sales activities of assigned units with those of other company units. Seeks mutual agreement on problems involving coordination of these units. Develops sales talents necessary to obtain short and long-range sales goals by effective direction, counseling, and training. Support the VP of Service Operations with the service organization's financial and budget activities to fund sales, operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency. Establishes objectives and procedures governing the performance of assigned activities. Issues specific annual objectives to immediate subordinates and reviews objectives of the sales staff. Experience & Education Sales Leader with ten years of industry field sales and marketing experience in HVAC or similar services business. Experience and proven track record of performance and value selling in building services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office Skills Bachelors of Science in Business, Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineerings (BSME) or equivalent.
