EEO/AA About the Position: Assumes responsibility for development, implementation, and evaluation of high quality, evidence-based, family centered programs. Facilitates service integration across Department’s and Agency’s programs to improve services to children and families. Implements a process for continuous quality improvement. Recruits, hires, directly supervises associate directors in the Resdiential and Community Treatment department (RCT). Provides oversight and direction for all Lund Family Services programs. Ensures programs have outcome measures and evidence-based standards of excellence related to EBPs, grant and contract requirements. Will report an annual “value proposition” related to State investments. Develops and manages RCT program budgets. Serves as Liaison or (delegates to a staff person and ensures representation) to ensure strong alliances with community and statewide agencies. Oversees advocacy efforts for RCT Department, in collaboration with President & CEO and Board. Works closely with the President & CEO and Director of Adoption to ensure integration and collaboration between RCT and other Lund Programs. Assures compliance with funding and licensing requirements. Ensures safety and compliance standards are met in accordance with building and grounds client/staff safety standards. Responsibility for forecasting, sustainability, planning, developing and partnerships in line with current community and statewide needs. Actively participate in budget development, monitoring and forecasting for responsible program areas. Ensures responsible fiscal management including responsible expenses and revenue generating activities. On-call as needed for department. Collaborates with agency senior leadership team on agency-wide initiatives including financial planning and sustainability, fundraising, and advocacy efforts. Acts as President in their absence when assigned. Demonstrates ability to work both independently and as a team player. A cohesive value system that includes a nonjudgmental attitude regarding reproductive choice, parenting, options and substance abusing clients. Displays caring, responsive, respectful attitude towards others. Implement a feedback system for assigned core competency area, utilizing observation, client feedback, program data and curriculum review as evaluative tools. Amount of travel and any other special conditions of requirements include the ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines and demands, ability to work well under pressure; availability to respond to off hours crisis; home visits with community clients, some State-wide travel to attend meetings; irregular hours at times to meet the needs of a 24-hour facility. Other duties as assigned. What We Look For: Master’s degree in Human Services and clinically related licensure such as such as LICSW, LCMHC, or LADC. Minimum of five years’ experience in direct clinical work, program planning, case management, recovery support. Experience in a residential setting is preferred. Minimum of five years’ supervisory experience. Experience with multidisciplinary treatment planning and teamwork; In depth knowledge of relevant public policy, state and federal funding programs, and prevailing national trends. Strong financial management skills Proven collaboration skills and experience. Ability to work independently or with a team. Ability to be self-motivated. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position either with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to maintain a valid VT Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation. Statewide travel may be required. Upon conditional offer of employment, must be able to successfully pass a background check.
