Director of Project Management[In-person or Remote]We are looking for an experienced Director of Project Management that can lead our rapidlygrowing team of Project Managers and Sr Project Managers within our Professional Servicesorganization. The Director of Project Management will oversee the continuous evolution ofour implementation methodology, project management tools and templates, and haveoverall responsibility for the development of the Project Management function andcorresponding execution with our customers. You'll have the opportunity to shape andestablish our project management practices across the customer onboarding journey. TheDirector of PM will be responsible for ensuring all projects in the portfolio adhere to ourimplementation methodology and will be expected to identify and implement improvementsto the methodology. Reporting to the VP of Professional Services, you will work closely withnot only the Project Managers reporting to you, but also the other functions involved inimplementation, including Data Conversion and Implementation.This is a rapidly growing team and if you’re excited about rapidly evolving and leading aProject Management function, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:● Architect end-to-end project management in customer onboarding – create andestablish project management protocols and best practices from scratch,ensuring a scalable approach as the company grows.● Oversee the execution of the project portfolio, ensuring adherence to timelines,scope, and quality standards.● Leverage industry leading tools for Professional Services Automation and ProjectManagement, ensuring consistent use of these tools across the portfolio.● Implement risk management strategies to ensure project success.● Provide strategic leadership to the project management team, fostering a cultureof collaboration, innovation, and accountability, ensuring the team has thenecessary resources and support to deliver high-quality projects.● Actively engage in key customer projects and remediate any challenges withexecution or client satisfaction.● Work cross-functionally within the Professional Services team as well as withother teams (Engineering, Sales, etc) to iteratively drive faster time-to-valuewhile maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.● Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the projectmanagement team.● Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementcorrective actions.● Monitor and regularly report on project portfolio progress, addressing potentialissues or risks, and implementing mitigation strategies when necessary.● Other duties as assigned.Key Attributes: ● Solution oriented individual who drives best practices and simplifies complexity.● Outstanding interpersonal skills to understand how best to navigate internal andexternal resources to move an individual project or program forward.● Complex problem-solving skills● Process-driven and detail oriented.● Stellar collaborator● Builder that enjoys establishing scalable business models and fostering individualteam member growth.Qualifications:● Minimum of five years of project management leadership experience workingwithin a Professional Services organization, preferably with an ERP company orsimilar complex B2B/B2G SaaS product.● Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering a portfolio ofcomplex SaaS projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.● Direct experience building a methodology and project management function fromthe ground up.● Hands on experience with PSA and Project Management tools.● Strong leadership and team management skills.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interacteffectively with clients and internal stakeholders.● In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.● Preference for experience with complex GovTech systems and/or other data-intensive SaaS solutions.● Bachelor’s degree or higher● Ability to travel up to 25%, with heavier travel to our headquarters in Lansing, MIduring initial onboarding and ramp-up time period.At BS&A, we love our team members and offer a highly competitive compensation andbenefit package.
