π©ββοΈ Director of Med-Surg - Leading Healthcare Facility in Sanford, FL π΅ Salary Range: $105K-$135K, 15% annual directorβs bonus, and 2% annual increases. π Location: Sanford, FL Exciting Leadership Opportunity in Med-Surg Nursing: We are seeking two dynamic Directors of Med-Surg to lead vital units within a leading healthcare facility. Each role offers unique responsibilities, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and hospital operations. Position 1: π₯ Oversee two units: A 47-bed general med-surg unit and a 26-bed cardiac med-surg unit. π Additional Responsibilities: Manage the Float Pool and Patient Safety Attendants (PSAs). π₯ Team Leadership: Direct a team of approximately 80-90 staff, including 2 Managers, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Techs, and Nurse Externs. Position 2: π₯ Oversee a single unit: A 51-bed general Med/Surg unit catering to ortho, trauma, oncology, and telemetry patients. π₯ Team Leadership: Manage around 50-60 staff, including 1 Manager, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs (including New Grads), and Patient Care Techs. Common Responsibilities for Both Roles: πΌ Strategic planning, resource optimization, and performance enhancement. π€ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and hospital leadership. π Develop educational programs and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. π Direct quality control, performance improvement, and clinical operations. Qualifications: π Bachelorβs Degree in Nursing (Master's preferred); ASN candidates with extensive experience considered. π©Ί 5-10+ years of RN experience in Med-Surg or related units. π Minimum 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience. π Active Registered Nurse license. π Required certifications: NIH Stroke Scale, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support.
