**Rome Health is seeking a a dynamic individual to fill the Position of Director of Material Management.** This individual will supervise the Sterile Processing Department Manager, Purchasing Agent as well as stores clerk. We need this professional to have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or other related field or combination of experience and training to indicate the ability to perform the job. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with every weekend and holiday off, however you may be required to work overtime , possible different shift and be on call. Licenses: Valid NYS Drivers License Experience: The potential employee must have 2 to 5 years of management experience in a healthcare setting with progressive responsibility. Skills: Be able to provide oral and written instructions. Ability to negotiate pricing. Follow and enforce policy and procedures. Have knowledge of excel spreadsheets, graphs and memos. Have the ability to educate and conduct meetings. Job Summary: This position involves developing, implementing and administrating a coordinated Supply Chain system that operates efficiently in both process and cost, to meet the needs of the Health System. Responsible for effective fiscal management of department operations to ensure proper utilization of financial resources.
