Director of Marketing, Visa Direct Cross BorderVisa Direct enables fast, secure, always available real-time money movement using Visa’s global payment rails. From moving funds between accounts, receiving funds from businesses or sending funds to friends and family around the world using their favorite remitter provider. Cross-border flows represent a significant opportunity to leverage this capability. As part of the U.S. Product Marketing team, the Director of Marketing Visa Direct XB will report to the Senior Director of U.S. Product Marketing. The incumbent will be responsible for the marketing strategy to accelerate Visa Direct’s growth in the cross-border segment and for developing and executing Visa-lead direct to consumer campaigns and B2B2C co-marketing efforts with key clients. We are looking for a talented and well-rounded marketer to join our team, the ideal candidate:· Is intellectually curious, has a knack for understanding how things work, and is a quick study.· Has a strong strategic mindset, is analytically savvy, leverages data to inform decisions and is relentless in measuring results.· Deeply understands the changing marketing environment.· Is an outstanding collaborator across functional and regional teams.· Is able to develop and gain support from Visa’s clients for hard working programs to grow their business while increasing share of payouts for Visa Direct.· Has executive presence, outstanding communication skills, and is highly persuasive.· Has passion for working on strategy and for executing with great attention to detail.· Payments and Remittance experience are not a must but would be helpful.Job Description and Responsibilities· Become a trusted advisor for Visa Product, Visa Sales and Remitter clients.· Gain deep insights into the fascinating world of cross border remittances and the unique challenges and opportunities of our clients.· Develop and refine the marketing approach to win in the segment leveraging user insights, understanding of the market and analysis.· Lead the execution and implementation of integrated consumer marketing campaigns across multiple paid channels and client channels.· Develop co-marketing campaigns that satisfy Visa and clients leveraging paid, owned and earned media working closely with cross-functional partners and agencies (external and internal).· Develop measurement framework, analysis, and reporting to evaluate performance of efforts and its impact on business results.· Budget management and financial discipline proven track record of executing on-time and on-budget.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree required / MBA preferred.• Strong marketing background with 9+ years of experience delivering measurable business results.• Strong strategic thinker focused on end-results who approaches challenges with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency.• Experience developing and executing B2C and B2B2C marketing campaigns leveraging audience insights.• Experience developing strong working relationships with cross-functional partners.• Proven track record of success in client-facing roles.• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.• Flexible and resilient leader demonstrated by adaptability, professional maturity, and ability to influence others.• Experience and comfort using data to optimize marketing campaigns.• Solid understanding and successful implementation of digital marketing practices (web, mobile, social, influencers).• Experience managing budgets.• Project management skills and attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.Additional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
