We are a thriving and growing organization, and our team is expanding across sites to support this growth. We are currently hiring for a Director of Grants based in Worcester, MA. The Director of Grants will be responsible for the overall writing and submission process for all federal and private grants for the Health Center including those affiliated with philanthropic organizations and foundations, as well as those associated with state and federal agencies. In addition, the Director will be responsible for overseeing grant compliance. Essential Functions: Writes and manages the grant and contract submission process, including working across departments to obtain information necessary for a successful grant application. Participates in discussions with the finance team and other senior staff to identify key funding priorities for the organization. Develops a timeline for grant submissions. Researches and develops an appropriate tracking system of current and potential funding sources to meet organizational priorities. Reports on upcoming funding opportunities to senior staff and the Advancement Committee. Manages tracking and ensuring grant and contract compliance and assist with reporting as required. Assists with other fundraising initiatives such as the annual appeal and annual report as directed by the SVP for Advancement. Assists with the maintenance of the donor database. Education and Experience: At least 5 years of experience writing and managing the grant process. Excellent writing skills and the ability to work collaboratively are required. Experience working in health care, with non-profit organizations or community health centers is a plus. Our health center requires all employees to have the most recent COVID-19 booster and the yearly flu vaccine.
