Our values define who we are. Be Authentic Practice Humility Cultivate Teamwork Value Time Be Trustworthy Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions of The Sebastian Vail, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization. Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round Start Date: ASAP Pay Range: $140,000 / year, plus up to 20% annual bonus potential Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial functions, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis Manage the financial reporting process, including monthly financial statements, forecasts, and annual budgets Monitor and analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to identify opportunities for improvement Develop and maintain internal controls and policies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data Provide financial analysis and support to the executive team to help drive decision-making and business growth Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness of financial strategies Manage a team of finance professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support as needed Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred 3+ years of experience in a senior financial management role Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel Experience working in a nonprofit organization a plus Benefits: Free onsite shift parking Discounted bus pass for Eagle County & Lake County routes Discounted F&B, Spa Treatments & Retail up to 40% off 401K with Match PTO for Full Time Year Round up to 4 weeks a year Wellness Bonus if worked through full season until ski area closing Full Time Year Round possible, with full benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD/STD, Life, Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Insurance.
