This individual will ensure our residents receive quality care, a safe place to live and ongoing, respectful communication. The eligible individual will enhance the effective management of quality nursing practices in keeping with the standards and expectations set out by governing bodies, internal policies, and standards of care. We are looking for a Director of Care that is passionate about working in long term care. Duties and Responsibilities Leads in the coordination and implementation of best practices and risk management initiatives related to resident care needs and the Home; Maintains a system of care backssment, planning, implementation and evaluation at the resident and unit program level; Ability to meet budgetary goals (budget restraints); Effectively manages utilization of nursing supplies; Collaboratively works with various members of the team.
