Job Title: Director of Admissions and Sales Director of Admissions and Sales Long Term Care Facility General DescriptionUnder the direction of the Executive Director, responsible for the continued growth ofresident census in the Facility.Essential Duties1. Assists in the development of the Facility's marketing plan and facilitates followthrough.a. Maintains Sales Call calendar as it relates to outside marketing events.b. Reviews reports and is able to identify Facility trends.2. Conducts sales calls with community contacts to promote Facility and servicesprovided. Verifies documentation is completed and communicates outcomes tothe Facility team.3. Oversees the tours of the Facility to prospective residents and families interestedin learning more about the Facility.4. Coordinates inquiries to the Facility regarding admissions.5. Identifies and documents referral sources in the community.6. Maintains effective communication with referral sources regarding Facilityservices and objectives.7. Participates in assigned public speaking engagements.8. Maintains the Facility's objectives of the budget as it pertains to census and payorclassification.9. Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and various payor types as itrelates to potential admissions into the Facility.10. Documents sales calls in appropriate forms.11. Understands and is able to explain the admissions agreement and servicesprovided.12. Oversees all aspects of the Admissions department.13. Understands thoroughly the duties and responsibilities of the AdmissionsCoordinator position, and is responsible for training new incumbents to theposition.14. Explores and utilizes available community resources applicable to residentialhealth care Facility programs.15. Demonstrates growth in the profession through community involvement andcontinuing education.16. Demonstrates ability to interact well with a diverse segment of the community. Director of Admissions and Sales Long Term Care Facility QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree from an accredited institution, additional experience may be substituted for education Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in long term care is preferred Benefits: Vacation, Personal, Bereavement, Sick time!
