Job Summary Job Description • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse and distribution operations. • Lead and manage a team of warehouse and distribution employees. • Monitor inventory accuracy with a goal of 99.9% accurate inventory levels. • Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements as necessary. • Continuously access and improve key performance indicators related to warehouse and distribution processes. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure on time delivery of goods. • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on warehouse and distribution performance. • Implement team practices to streamline processes. • Work closely with customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction through timely deliveries. Education / Qualifications • 10+ years managing: Warehouse operations including all inventory management locations, traffic management, contract negotiations, etc. • BS Degree in Business, Management, Operations, Logistics, etc. • Minimum of 5+ years managing direct and indirect staff • Manage customer relations as required • Work with internal organizations such as : Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Finance, IT, etc. • Working with the compliance team manage compliance related responsibilities • Key part of ISO compliance and auditing process • Process controls and associated metrics • Experience in SAP or comparable ERP system implementation a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
