What you will be doing: Leads and oversees Business Human Resources activities ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures supporting Canadian Banking Channel Enablement. Responsible for coaching and advising senior business leaders on workforce related topics, opportunities, talent strategies, etc. The HRBP works with business line leadership teams (SVP+) to meet people aspects of business needs by leveraging strategies and guidelines created in Communities of Expertise (COEs), and HR Services’ delivery and insight capabilities. In this role, your primary focus will be to: Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Represents HR in strategic planning / decision making and ongoing meetings with the broader business line leadership team and participates in HR strategy development. Deploys strategic solutions to meet business objectives and provides strategic direction for the business. Provides proactive talent thought leadership and insights based on current internal trends and/or emerging external trends for business leaders. Provides people and workforce related advice, strategies, and solutions related to workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, and succession planning using tools and assets developed by COEs. Leverages workforce data generated by HR Services to formulate people insights and recommendations. Advocates and champions the HR operating model within the business.
