Ensuring Chart’s Success… The Financial Planning & Analysis team plays a pivotal role in forecasting business operations, analyzing results, and providing critical insights for corporate decision-making. As the Director of Corporate FP&A, you will take direct ownership of our company-wide planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting processes. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to the ongoing enhancement and optimization of OneStream and other business analysis technologies. This role is not only about driving robust modeling and analysis but also focuses on continuous improvement of tools and systems to elevate our financial planning processes. Reporting to the VP Corporate FP&A, this individual contributor role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of the organization. Location: Houston or Atlanta area (Preferred), Remote available What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be… Lead timely and insightful financial analysis to align with strategic objectives including preparing and improving management reporting packages. Conduct high-quality variance analysis and deliver comprehensive financial commentary on Chart's performance. Act as the primary point of contact for administering and coordinating the annual operating plan and financial forecasting processes, including analysis, presentations, and qualitative assessments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and track key performance metrics, financial indicators, and reporting requirements. Provide management with insightful financial analysis, actively participating in monthly business reviews. Drive financial planning processes, leading the evolution of integrated financial forecast models, systems, and tools. Collaborate with Business FP&A leads, other Finance functions, and operational teams to scale models and provide performance insights. Develop and optimize the company's utilization of OneStream and other business analysis tools. Your Education Should Be… Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent; CPA or relevant master’s degree strongly preferred. Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting Your Professional Experience Should Be… 7-10 years of finance experience, including a robust background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) is essential. Strong business and analytical acumen with a focus on problem-solving and critical thinking; experience in FP&A process improvement is highly desired. Experience with OneStream or similar systems. Proficient in complex financial and business data modeling, effectively communicating outcomes to key stakeholders. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with Senior Management and Executives. Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly shifting company or team goals. Advanced understanding of financial statements and proficiency in GAAP. Mastery of income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet composition in a complex planning, forecasting, and budgeting environment. Strong oral and written presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to tailor communication based on stakeholder requirements. Advanced financial modeling skills, including the development of multi-year, multi-business financial models and forecasts; expert-level proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory. Experience in preparing and presenting quarterly presentations to various organizational levels. Adept at managing multiple deadlines, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, and meeting the expectations of diverse stakeholders. Mastery of PowerPoint and visualization of financial data is strongly desired.
