Duties and Responsibilities: Leading the company in identifying transmission opportunities in Ontario and to execute and win on those opportunities. Leading the " deal team" (all relevant stakeholders across the business) to drive out a competitive bid to win the work. Communicate on financials (to get deals done), planning requirements, real estate issues, permitting issues, environmental issues, indigenous issues, government relations issues, regulatory issues. Exercise advanced negotiation skills to ensure the company is aligned, right up to the Executive Leadership team, indigenous partners, municipal government officials, provincial government officials, government agencies (environmental, permitting). Continually provide recommendations to improve the " win" process. Create and define a " Find / Win / Deliver" operating model as it relates to transmission pursuits. This includes contributions from across ELT and company. Focus on WHY and WHAT to pursue. Lead and oversee pursuits efforts related to competitive transmission, working in the matrix organization to develop a strategic bid. Lead a cross-company Steerco to ensure common themes, risks, opportunities across portfolios are presented and managed.
