Fort Myers Broadcasting is a growing family-owned and operated business and CBS affiliate (WINK) in Southwest Florida.Fort Myers Broadcasting has an immediate opening for a Digital News Producer. The person in this position will be involved in the day-to-day production of news for digital platforms, including winknews.com, the WINK News app, and our social media platforms.The person in this position will work closely with the Digital Director, Producers, and Reporters on daily content and breaking news stories. We're a fast-paced newsroom with news always happening. If you have excellent writing skills, solid news judgment, this job is for you. Required Skills: Solid news judgment. Demonstrated ability to create written business news content with accuracy. Compelling and accurate writer. Proven ability to manage time in order to put together exciting and informative content. Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Strong leadership skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to execute news strategies and goals. Flexibility and on-the-spot problems solving abilities are a must.
