Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Digital Engineering Manager 3 - DT Adoption & Services to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and supporting the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. What You'll Get To Do The ideal candidate is capable of creating and managing high performing teams while providing technical, administrative and management expertise in the day-to-day activities required to successfully execute complex engineering programs. Specific work scope includes but is not limited to:* Program technical execution within cost and schedule constraints* Manage Digital Transformation Office (DTO) Alignment with Strategic Deterrent Systems Division* Setting objectives, monitoring, and reviewing yearly progress* Development and maintenance of program execution metrics* Earned value management* Management and guidance of software, data science, systems, mechanical and other discipline engineers* Workload management and coordination with functional homeroom resources* Management of Reality Capture equipment and services* Program execution staffing in coordination with the hiring team* Technical direction, guidance, and mentoring of project team members* Represent SDS on Space Intellectual Evaluation Committee (IEC) As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage* 401k* Educational Assistance* Life Insurance* Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions* Paid Time Off* Health & Wellness Resources* Employee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * 8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's in a STEM discipline; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.* US Citizenship and Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.* 3+ years in a formal lead/management position.* 8+ years of aerospace/defense industry experience.* 1+ years of experience in cost and schedule management. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * Masters of Science Degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution.* Recognition within the broader organization as a Subject Matter Expert, Responsible Design Engineer or Integrated Product Team Lead for Digital Transformation within Space Systems.* Experience as a functional manager.* Demonstrated ability to create a collaborative, engaging working environment.* An ability to manage and balance competing interests/priorities.* Excellent verbal & written communication skills.* Experienced in advanced Reality Capture technologies such as Digital Image Correlation, Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), photogrammetry, Laser Scanning, Structured Light Scanning, and combinations of the above.* Experience with health monitoring technologies such and infrared, X-ray, acoustic modal.* Experience in collaborating with employees within a department and across functional areas.* Demonstrated ability to grasp complex issues, independently formulate analysis and proposed solutions, lead people, manage complex activities, manage risks and opportunities, present / brief issues to leadership, and represent the company well to customers and business partners.* Proven technical leadership experience.* Experience with reverse engineering tools and processes.* Experience with cross division/Sector projects.* Experience patenting technology and determining the patentability of technology.#Sentinelleadership Salary Range: $164,200 - $246,400The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
