Digital Asset and Copywriting Intern Job Summary: The Digital Asset and Copywriting Intern is a part time position (15 - 20 hours per week) that will split responsibility supporting work initiatives for the Design & Development and Marketing teams. The Digital Asset and Copywriting Intern is responsible for tagging and organizing digital assets using Digital Asset Management software and writing product description copy and content for new and existing items to contribute to the search capabilities and user experience of the DecoPac websites and enable improved AI functionality of the platform. Essential Job Duties: Digital Asset Management : Review, tag and organize digital [product-based] assets (including work-in-process photography, saleable product images, inspirational photos, custom photography, and product design). Facilitate proper transfer and management of assets and information between existing platforms. Work with the Design & Development team to source and set-up missing assets Facilitate governance of metadata Learn DecoPac digital platforms and websites Prioritize work based on direction from the Associate Creative Director to meet deadlines critical to support the successful launch and ongoing support of our websites. Copywriting : Write DecoPac.com (B2B), Celebration IQ (B2C) and Amazon (B2C) product description copy for new and existing items. Key word tagging for completion of Item Set-up process. Revise, edit and proofread content as needed or directed by customer (product manager, marketing manager, licensor). Check work for spelling, grammar and punctuation. Respond to feedback and make necessary adjustments in a timely manner Learn DecoPac's brand(s) guidelines to ensure inspiring, thoughtful, and web-appropriate content for all products. Qualifications: Students seeking a career in digital design or marketing. Completion of one year of coursework in marketing, graphic design, product design or website design. Experience in digital asset management or website content writing/copywriting preferred, but not required. Experience in data entry preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work output. Self-starter who is eager to learn and can work independently to meet deadlines.
