Sunshine Terrace Foundation is accepting applications for Dietary Aide. This position performs a variety of kitchen duties to assist in preparing and serving meals to patients and residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Prepares minimal food items such as fruits, toast, and beverages with the instruction of the cook. Prepares silverware and napkins. Prepares dining room areas for meals. Collects and stacks dirty dishes on cart and returns them to the kitchen. Washes dishes and cleans dish area, tables, cabinets, and meal carts. Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers. Cleans dining room areas after meals. Performs cleaning duties as scheduled. Job Requirements Education and/or Experience Less than high school education, up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 16 years of age. Other Qualifications/Requirements Requires Food Handler permit or ServSafe certification. Requires excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
