Jack Cooper -Transport -Now Hiring Diesel Mechanics in Wentzville, MO! Start at $30.88+/Hour - Paid Vacation - Excellent Benefits! 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 12p - 8:30p. Some Weekends. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule Benefits: $30.88/hour + 0.20 -/hr. more per ASE Certification Company paid medical, dental, vision plan for both you as the employee and your family Deductible is $200 per individual and tops out $400 per year for an entire family Union Pension Life insurance Tool allowance Paid holidays Paid vacation Sick Pay Essential Functions of Diesel Fleet Mechanic: Knowledge and/or ability to diagnose, repair service and maintain our heavy duty trucks and trailers - suspension/hydraulic system, air brake systems Perform inspections on equipment; report mechanical issues and problems to shop management Communicate effectively to ensure efficient repair and diesel fleet mechanic performance Ensure parts inventory is adequate to meet repair needs, or report as necessary Want to learn more? We care for the life-cycle of our fleet--scheduled refurbishing, cycling out and replacing our older equipment. We have 30 complete maintenance facilities for our 2600 truck fleet.
