We take pride in our commitment to delivering safe and reliable vehicles on the road. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Position Overview: As a Diesel Mechanic at Hawhee Truck Repair, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty semi-tractors. This role requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, transmissions, and various systems within the semi-tractor. Must have a valid driver's license, tools and tool box. Monday thru Friday and rotating Saturdays. Competitive wage and benefits. Health insurance: Blue Cross and Blue Shield and is 100% covered for employees. We offer life insurance that comes with a Roth IRA option, 25% match after first year, 50% after two years, 100% after 5 years. We offer an accident policy similar to Aflac. Uniforms are 100% covered. Job Duties may include but may not be limited to: Consulting the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required*Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues*Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions*Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts*Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts*Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown*Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance*Completing oil changes, alignment and brake checks If you are a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a challenging and rewarding career, please apply now!
