Entry Level position . 3-2-2-3 shift. Every other weekend off! $1,500 sign on bonus Full benefits, including excellent 401(k) NIGHT SHIFT 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. POSITION: AERATOR POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting the cutting department by providing raw materials and/or work in process as required by specific production jobs. JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Replace wooden pallet with plastic pallet and aerate loads prior to printing, based on production schedule. Re-aerate loads at pressman’s request. Return special skids to the appropriate department. Communicate required information to co-workers and manager. Assist helper when required. Occasionally perform preventative maintenance on equipment and be able to diagnose, trouble shoot equipment by early detection and sound of machine while in operation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complies with all company and department safety, quality, productivity, and security procedures. Ensures total quality of the job while in operation, performs quality checks and accurate documentation. Maintains the machine and area in accordance with the standard operation procedures. May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Required Skills Ability to read basic measurement tools and ability to read and follow proper work instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and follow instructions. Ability to operate a pallet jack to move material. Highly motivated, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to frequently lift or carry 10 to 25 pounds and handle a pallet weighing 40-52 pounds. Ability to regularly stand and use hands to fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts on alternate days with rotating weekends off. Must be flexible; able to work other shifts, overtime and weekends when needed. Required Experience High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
