The Device Repair Technician provides device repair support to all Batteries Plus Corporate and Franchise stores utilizing database systems, web research, and collaborative problem solving methods. The Device Repair Technician will be repairing phones, tablets, and other devices while performing live training observations. The Device Repair Technician for Batteries Plus is an onsite role at our Ascent Repair Operations facility in Hartland, WI. Does this sound like your next exciting opportunity? Apply today! Responsibilities: Customer Service Interface with corporate and franchise stores about device repairs, status of repairs, and shipping information Maintain problem resolution proficiency standards, and customer satisfaction levels Escalates problem situations to management when necessary Device Repair Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices based on priority Receive, pack and ship these devices according to priority and shipping agenda. Assist with cycle count every week to reflect the accurate utilization of device repair inventory Assist in formal training of store associates to include tearing down devices, taking photos, assisting with video training production Provide live camera-based remote support for in-store device repairs Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Develop written procedures and technical videos for common device repair activities as needed Qualifications: High School education or equivalent with relevant experience 3 - 6 months of previous device repair experience Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance Demonstrated problem solving skills. Duties require the ability of the use of judgment in minor decisions and use of some judgment as to the method of performance.
