OUR EARLY INTERVENTION (EI) PROGRAM IS GROWING!!! The Developmental Disabilities Resource Center's Early Intervention Team is growing and seeks to hire a full-time Developmental Interventionist (DI) to support children and families in the Jefferson County area. Salary Range : $69,000 - $79,350/year + $500 Sign on Bonus A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DEVELOPMENTAL INTERVENTIONIST ON THE DDRC EI TEAM As a Developmental Interventionist in Early Intervention provider on our EI Team , you are responsible for providing Early Intervention services via telehealth, in families' homes and in community settings (following COVID-19 guidance and safety precautions as applicable) using the Trans-disciplinary/Primary Service Provider model and coaching method of service delivery. You will work within a team of other employees at DDRC (providers and service coordinators), along with contracted Early Intervention providers. In addition to participating in initial IFSP development you will also participate in Early Intervention Evaluations. The Early Intervention Department at DDRC strives to provide the highest quality therapy for children 0-3 years of age based on evidenced based practice. Our team (Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Developmental Interventionists and Social/Emotional providers) comes together weekly to discuss various approaches and how to work together to provide elite services to each child and their family, with additional recurring opportunities to collaborate with specialists including Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Audiologists and Registered Dieticians. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR DDRC EARLY INTERVENTION PROVIDERS (Discipline Specific Qualifications Listed Below) Part C Early Intervention experience required Additional EI Evaluation experience ideal Bilingual/Multilingual candidates encouraged to apply Recognition of importance of and respect for confidentiality Interest in providing both in-person and virtual services to support to families Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with ability to drive to various locations in varying weather Ability to sit on the floor in various residences with the children and their families Flexibility to work remotely much of the time (beyond COVID-19 work restrictions) DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS: Developmental Interventionist Degree Requirements CDE licensed ECSE or ECE with Birth to Eight Endorsement required. Additional early childhood mental health experience or Infant Mental Health Endorsement (IMH-E) experience preferred.
