Description:
Duties: Work closely with a team of developers and business users to embed cutting-edge latest technical solutions into products, cloud-based microservices that communicate via API calls. Work on a front-end application that makes statistical data services directly available to business users. Accountable for leading application development supporting business objectives while demonstrating independence in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing. Lead new and existing applications along with enhancements to applications and infrastructure. Perform hands-on coding while designing and architecting data processing and analytics solutions. Serve as a liaison to internal customers, research groups and various business support areas. Provide technical guidance to junior programmers and other software engineers. Provide technical leadership and develop enhancements to batch and online applications and infrastructure. Troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications. Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of related experience. Additionally, the position requires experience with the following: 4 years of experience with .Net technologies. 3 years of experience with Frame Works: ASP .NET core, Restful API, MVC. 2 years of experience with Leadership and team management. 2 years of experience with AWS Technologies: EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS Batch, S3, or Amazon RDS. 1 year of experience with Statistical data in Insurance domain. 1 year of experience with Database: SQL Server, MySql, DynamoDB, or Snowflake. 40 hours/week, $169,229 to $174,229 per year.
