Job Title: Developer & Knowledge Manager Department: Operations Reports to: IT Manager Effective Date: March. 2023 Job Summary: DAGA seeks a developer & knowledge manager to create customized SharePoint solutions for internal programs. As the developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to the organization's specifications, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff. You should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues. You will also help develop and implement knowledge management systems and protocols. Examples: Meeting with departments to review website and application requirements Configuring the organization's SharePoint systems to specified requirements Developing new web components using XML .NET, SQL, and C# Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies Reviewing website interface and software stability Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications Providing systems training to staff Duties/Responsibilities: Develop and maintain intranets and portals Customize systems such as document management Integrate systems with Microsoft products Provide training to users to get the most out of SharePoint Develop and maintain database knowledge Assisting Deputy IT director with IT projects Required Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in programming languages and framework such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML UI/UX design processes Databases and documentation expertise Business Process Automation Commitment to DAGA's mission to elect Democratic Attorneys General across the nation Education and Experience: At least two years' experience as a SharePoint administrator Knowledge of Windows Operating/Apple systems, as well as SAL, Power BI, Office 365 Knowledge of SharePoint tools, workflows, and SharePoint forms Analytical and problem-solving abilities Organizational and time-management skills Associate or Bachelor's degree The salary range is $70,000 - $75,000 .The position will be located at DAGA's Washington, DC office, though it is eligible to be a remote position.
