As part of a team of collaborative professionals, a Design Solutions Consultant must maintain a positive attitude, be results-driven and creatively solve problems. Daily activities include programming, space planning, product application and component specification. Basic job functions also include client interactions, inter-company collaboration, computer-based work and finish selection. SROW is a no-tobacco use facility and property. Required Skills have a strong portfolio of work be organized, consistent and detail-oriented be able to self-prioritize multiple tasks have excellent time-management skills have strong process-driven and problem-solving skills be highly empathetic and have a proven ability to research design problems and express design direction in clear, compelling frameworks work quickly and effectively through concept explorations in order to illustrate solutions to a design problem embrace realistic project expectations by producing budget- and time-sensitive solutions be able to balance technical and creative problem solving define, own and clearly communicate project scope work with cross-functional project teams, including coordination with vendors and trades have strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to co-design with clients and team members be flexible, adaptable and willing to learn accept criticism with a positive attitude be constantly feeding their intellectual and visual curiosities Required Experience four-year college degree (Interior Design / Interior Architecture) proficient in PC-based programs Microsoft Office, Outlook, AutoCAD (required) CET, Revit, SketchUp, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro (optimal, but not required) experience with a furniture dealership or architecture firm (optimal, but not required) NCICQ, LEED or EDAC (optimal, but not required) Scott Rice is a drug-free workplace.
