DescriptionThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the assigned Bank's Operation team. The role facilitates departmental workflow,ensures that work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with bank policies and procedures, and provides guidance, training, and leadership to staffwhile ensuring quality service is provided by the team. The Operations Supervisor is expected to work with a high level of independence on issues and assignedprojects. Duties include: Supervises the day-to-day operations of the assigned operations team, and manages hiring and scheduling of employeesSupports department manager in the development and training of employees and tracking of long term goals for the teamSupports department manager in the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and processesMaintains current and accurate knowledge of the bank's applications, ancillary systems, and compliance regulationsParticipates in the annual budget preparation process and is held accountable for managing overhead costs while managing staff and processes to ensure costs aremaintained within budget guidelinesCommunicates and collaborates with bank personnel and local, state and federal authorities as appropriateCoordinates the development and training of employeesManages productivity and service standards ensuring procedures, deadlines and requirements are met Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred5 years of banking or similar financial processing experiencePrevious leadership experience preferred Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructionsWork occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the positionLifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.May require work on physical bank premises ANBTX strongly encourages candidates that are fluent in English and Spanish to apply.
