DescriptionInternal AuditorLocation: Remote Work or Little Rock, ArkansasRole Summary: Internal Auditor will be responsible for contributing to the design and implementation of audit processes, procedures and methodologies, developing and monitoring a customized audit program. Will plan, perform operational audits to ensure compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations. Internal Auditor Job Responsibilities: Reviews internal processes, transactions, documentation, and systems to validate compliance, evaluate effectiveness, identify issues, and prepare reports and recommendations for remediation.May coordinate with or prepare reports for external auditors or regulatory bodies.Will be charged with creating or refining current internal procedures for this role.Must be an autonomous employee with a high drive for excellence. Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.Review accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved.Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability.Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement.Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations. To coordinate with operations team at both headquarters and in the field.Expect travel of up to 25%. Qualifications/Desired Characteristics: Self-motivated, autonomous employee with drive and desire to get to the bottom of any given assignment and deliver desired ROI. Need to have between 4-7 years of experience in the field. We seek a detective at heart. Education/Training/Certification Minimum bachelor's degree.4-7 years of internal audit experience.
