Description Warehouse Associate II 3rd shiftWho we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate II 3rd shift to be based out of Hobart, IN. Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, this person will be responsible for warehouse duties including but are not limited to picking, packing, cycle counting, and material handling. What you'll do: Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading themSort & move palletized and bulk materials in and out of containers, loading docks, racks, and storage areasUse RF scanner/computer to retrieve product codes, part numbers, product quantities, location information etc.Be certified and operate pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, stock chasers, and other equipment to move materialPerform cycle counts as neededEnsure all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and all plant rules are being followed daily What you'll bring: High School Diploma or GED preferred3+ years of Forklift Certification/Previous Experience operating is required3+ years of Warehouse experience in a retail/large box distribution center is preferredIntermediate computer PC/RF scanner skillsAbility to lift and manipulate up to 60lbsStanding and walking up to 12 hours per dayAbility to pass a drug screen and background check Within 3 months, you'll: Be proficient in the functions of the RF scannerBe certified in all applicable PIT equipmentHave an intermediate knowledge of the warehouse and locations of products Who we are: Atkore is a recipient of a Great Place to Work certification and a Top Workplaces USA award!
