Then submit your resume now!This position is responsible for a wide range of medical assistant responsibilities including direct patient care, rooming, assisting with surgical procedures, communicating with patients and insurance companies, verifying patient-eligibility, coordinating benefits, facilitating insurance coverage for each patient that has been prescribed a specialty medication..SSM Health Dermatology is a rapidly growing SSM Health affiliated clinic. Our clinics offer care to patients with diseases of the hair, skin and nails. Our clinics offer a wide range of services including on-site MOHS skin cancer surgeries, cosmetic procedures, and phototherapy in addition to the treatment and maintenance of common dermatological conditions. We offer great starting pay, excellent benefits, 401K matching and many unique perks for our employees! Required Qualification: Education: High school Diploma or GED. Registered Medical Assistant training and certification preferred; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 1 year medical experience required. Dermatology experience preferred. Computer Skills/Equipment: working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer required. Excellent typing skills required. Experience with EPIC system or other electronic medical record software preferred. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
