We provide services to support the daily operations of multiple professional societies and trade associations. Position Description: The Deputy Association Executive is responsible for coordinating association activities such as board meetings, producing meeting agenda and minutes, monitoring adherence to budgets, general communications and web site content management, marketing support (both traditional and social media activities), as well as other day-to-day operations for the association. This position, at the direction of the association executives, works closely with all CMP departments including customer care, finance, marketing, events and accounts. Position will also support and periodically attend association events. Position Requirements: Ability to develop professional relationships in all aspects of the position that result in stable, consistent, reliable, and courteous communication when dealing with other organizations. Ability to present ideas effectively to management, boards and committees. Five plus years customer service experience. Ability to problem solve and work independently in changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines. Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills. Ability to effectively establish budgets and manage expenses. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Association Management Software, and other tools needed to support association operations). Effective time management, organizational and leadership skills. Familiarity with CRM/AMS software systems and practices. Ability to adapt/respond to various customer personas. Goal oriented and strives to learn and grow on a daily basis. Reliable transportation is required. Ability to travel is required. Ability to work some evenings and weekends required.
