NEEDED: DENTAL HYGIENIST LOCATION: 201 FCI Lane, Glenville, WV 26351 HOURS : 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, normally between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (flexibility is required) QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess and submit evidentiary documentation of your graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene. Be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the State of West Virginia. Must submit photocopies of their license and/or board certification. Have at least one or more years of experience. Be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. RESPONSIBILITIES: Shall provide the following Dental Hygienist services, which include, but are not limited to, the items listed below: Will generally work under the supervision of the staff Dentist; however, may be required to work under the supervision of the Clinical Director or a BOP mid-level practitioner. Responsible for personal health care needs and costs associated with exposure, or possible exposure to any blood borne pathogen or other risk encountered during performance of this contract. Provide dental prophylaxis on inmates who are referred by the dental staff Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the dental staff Perform necessary paperwork related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as directed by the dental staff BENEFITS: Competitive hourly pay rate, accrued vacation, accrued sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, 401K opportunity, and healthcare benefits contribution.
