Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in route/material deliveries and a proven track record of safe and efficient driving. As a Box Truck Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. If you are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with excellent driving skills, we invite you to apply for this position.Responsibilities: * Safely maneuver a 26' box truck to efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations. * Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries * Load and unload merchandise from the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques * Verify and confirm the accuracy of delivery orders with customers * Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving * Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts * Communicate with the dispatch team and customers to provide updates on delivery status * Handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner * Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules and protocolsPreferred Qualifications: * Previous experience as a box truck or delivery driver * Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes * Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety * Ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading goods * Good communication and customer service skills * Basic math skills for verifying order quantities and handling cash transactions * Attention to detail and accuracy in completing delivery paperwork * Ability to work independently and follow instructions * Flexible schedule with the willingness to work occasional weekends or overtimePhysical demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
