Otter Co-op is now hiring for a Part-Time Deli Associate / Class 5 Delivery Driver to assist with our Fresh N Good Food Program based out of our Parallel Food Store located in Abbotsford , BC. We operate three food and shop stores (including one with a fashion and hardware department), twenty-eight Angry Otter liquor stores, two feed mills, two bulk petroleum facilities, the Angry Otter Tap & Forno and Brewery in North Vancouver, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, the Sawbucks pub in South Surrey and twenty-five gas station/convenience stores. What you’ll do: Assist with the preparation of a wide variety of products for the Gas Bar Food Program, including but not limited to sandwiches, baked goods, popcorn, confectionary, flavored peanuts etc. Delivery of products to our Gar Bars and Pubs throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley Providing responsive, exceptional service to Guests at the Deli and treat counters by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples, and responding to requests Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing meats and cheeses Preparing special orders and party trays Updating displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, removing trash, and confirming that tools are in working order Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies Cooperating with others to ensure Guest satisfaction.
