DCM SETTER We are currently working with a global supplier of lightweight aluminium castings who feed into major automotive manufacturers around the world and are looking.DCM SETTER We are currently working with a global supplier of lightweight aluminium castings who feed into major automotive manufacturers around the world and are looking for a DCM Setter to join their team. Responsibilities as a DCM Setter: - To prepare high pressures dies for production - To change dies & set the machine to the correct process parameters. - Able to work closely with the Process and Toolroom engineers to solve any die or process issues as they arise - Ensure all process parameters are correct and checking quality of machine before handing over to production - Assist with training and development of die casting operatives Skills needed for DCM Setter: - Proven production experience in Die casting machine setting and operating - Need to be attentive to detail and follow procedures set out - Hard working, self-motivated, willing to take on whatever duties are required to meet the needs of the job - Be able to work within a small team in a well-equipped workshop - Knowledge of SMED/QCO and business improvement tools and methodology - Current crane license Training provided - Current FLT License Training provided - Working at height Training provided - Working in confined spaces Training provided Benefits for DCM Setter: - Mon-Thur 7am - 4pm, 7am - 1pm Friday - Days, double days and night shifts available - Shift pay £1.03 for double days or £3.07 for nights - double days pays £22.03 PH and Night shifts pay £24.07PH - 24 days of holiday - Free car park on-site This is a full-time permanent position for the successful DCM Setter.
