DC Maintenance TechDivision/Department: Pork Location: MarshalltownJob title: Maintenance Technician DISTRIBUTION CENTERInternal applicants must have less than 3 attendance points in order to applyHours: 6pm 6am Flexible (2nd shift) Rotating daysType of position:Full-time General Description:Work closely with maintenance and production supervisors as well as other on site management team members to promote efficiency and teamwork in the DC Maintenance department and within the JBS Marshalltown facility. Attend meetings as scheduled, called or requested. Exemplify safety, efficiency and productivity of DC maintenance workers; assist maintenance supervisors with training of employees. Work to properly determine causes of delays in maintenance related situations and take appropriate actions to help meet production schedules (on time delivery). Work within company employee relations and union contract policies at all times. Monitor machinery, equipment and facilities to ensure all are properly maintained and sanitized prior to use. Arrange to have appropriate maintenance records prepared and maintained to assist in determining root causes after breakdown events. Perform various other duties as needed or assigned. Required skills:Above average electrical skills in industrial maintenance environmentAbove average computer based controls skills in industrial maintenance environmentAbove average mechanical skills in industrial maintenance environment3 to 5 years industrial maintenance experienceSupervisory skills; good interpersonal relations; ability to handle conflict professionally.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to speak multiple languages beneficial.Education Requirements (if applicable)High school diploma or GED equivalent.Technical College certificate, degree or equivalentCollege experience recommended.Approved by: Marisela Ramirez Title: Employment Manager Open 05/09/2024 Closes: 05/19/2024To apply go online jobs.jbssa.comEOE/Vets/Disabled
