Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 Annually Job Summary: This position is responsible for daily supervision of staff and programming of Cornerstone’s statewide Day One (DO) Call Center Hotlines and General Crime Victim Services (GCVS). The supervisor’s primary responsibility is to ensure that advocate/services operate with the highest level of victim/survivor’s relationship standards. Standards are inclusive of trauma informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive advocacy, information, referral, and direct financial assistance practices. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the DO Network partners, social services, and other response systems supporting victims/survivors of violence and trauma. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Minimum of 2+ years of experience providing direct crisis response services to individuals; and 2+ years of experience providing direct staff supervision and leadership in an environment that is responsive to individuals and families who have experienced trauma and violence. Length of experience in a social service field may be considered in lieu of some educational requirements. Essential Functions: Provides professional supervision, performance management, and coaching of GCVS/ DO advocates as assigned. • Maintains daily provision of 24/7 Call Center Hotline and GCVS services in alignment with CAS’ mission, philosophy, and values. • Actively assists in hiring, orienting, and coordinates training of new DO/GCVS staff, volunteers, and interns. • Monitors DO Call Center scheduling to ensure adequate 24/7 coverage in coordination with other on-call staff. • Creates and delivers with the Leadership Team on-going team opportunities for meetings, trainings, and feedback sessions with an emphasis on programming, services, and strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. • Works with other Team Leaders to enhance advocates’ comprehensive knowledge of social, mental health, civil/criminal, and housing services to assist participants in understanding and navigating these systems. Emphasis on additional barriers within these systems that may impact diverse, marginalized and/or underrepresented communities Hours/Schedule: This position requires a flexible work schedule which varies based on supervisory and program needs but may include some evenings, weekend hours and an occasional overnight. This position includes an on-call rotating schedule to assist with staff support, coaching and direct service coverage. Additional coverage and support may be needed to provide essential services needed during a local/national concern or major public awareness events.
