Easter Seals Iowa is searching for caring team members for our adult day service programs- Life Club and Clients Socially Integrated (CSI). Enjoy the fun of Camp Sunnyside and go out in the community while supporting adults with disabilities grow in independence! Life Club is located at Camp Sunnyside and provides training in skills such as socialization, communication, problem-solving, creative thinking, peer relationships, and more. Life Club clients make friends by choosing and leading activities they enjoy. Team members focus on strengths and independence as clents participate in activities. All camp activities are available to Life Club participants which regularly include swimming, in addition to other outdoor activities, crafts, singing, and wellness activities. Clients Socially Integrated (CSI) is a community-based day program for adults with disabilities focused on learning transferable skills that lead to independence in the community. This is achieved by relationship-building, problem-solving and deciding as a group what activities to do. Communication, safety, transportation and independent skills are sharpened as clients engage in activities.Easterseals requires that potential employees complete a background check and have a good driving record as they would be driving during the course of their job duties and must be insurable under our policy. Typical hours for this position are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. $2000 sign on bonus! Contingent offer based on: no more than 3 days unplanned absence in the first 90 days.
