OVERVIEW: The expanding Electronics Group at SharkNinja (creator of the familiar household brands Shark and Ninja ) is looking for a dynamic, creative, inspirational and committed Database Management Manager to lead and deliver an extraordinary pipeline of new products.This role will focus on multiple database management for our ambitious product roadmap. The successful candidate will have some experience in reviewing the analog and digital embedded design, especially hardware (schematic capture and BOM scrub), preferably in consumer products or similar and would be familiar with all product development aspects such as team task tracking, BOM cost tracking, DFMEA, documentation and PLM systems. This position is the glue within the group, coordinating activities and removing barriers for the embedded team members as well as provide status reporting for leadership reviews. Duties & Responsibilities: Database Management Manager with strong data entry skills as they will be transferring data to our new documentation Management System.Over 3,000 build materials info needs to be entered into the new system. Data proof check and verification. Advise on work flow and timelines. Coordinate additional staff if needed. In addition: Availability in the mornings and evenings for project meetings and discussions SharkNinja will provide a computer and tools to perform the duties of this position Work locations will be at SharkNinja office As Database Management Manager, candidate needs to prepare and present the Stella work progress on weekly basis and sync up w/ global engineering and supply chain leaderships. Functional Skills & Knowledge: Strong communications and interpersonal skills: present ideas in a style that is clear, fluent and to-the-point. Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel. Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed. Proficient touch typing skills. Demonstrated decision making capability, uses logic and insight to solve difficult problems and create effective solution. Action/result oriented: Achieves high level, sustainable performance, and results, drive positive change. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. Education & Experience: BS in engineering plus 3+ years related experience, or advanced degree. Previous industry experience working for a consumer products company or a consultant company in the consumer goods space is a plus.
